Job Description
As Web Analyst you will be responsible for the Web tracking Implementation across Entain websites portfolio.
You will be ensuring the accuracy of the behavioural data and continuously run validation for the data collected.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Optimize web analytics/tracking solution for Entain product suite
- Optimize the Datalayer Structure and usage in order for the Datalayer to serve as a support for web analytics/ tracking solutions and marketing tagging.
- Manage web tracking data collection tools.
- Working with Product Management and Operations teams to enable the delivery of relevant behavioural data.
- Supervise tracking implementation that measures the potential success of product changes.
- Manage process flow and data flow to enable single source of truth for all relevant web tracking data sources
- Partner with product management to ensure seamless implementation of new features and mitigate implementation related web analytics issues
- Support to ensure reliable web tracking data against any kind of backend-derived figures (Source Database, DWH)
- Being point of contact to for Product Web Tracking requests.
- Providing consultancy on data and/or techniques that can be used to exploit additional opportunities or resolve any other business issue.
- Be an advocate for user experience and a promoter of user experience-driven and player journey-focused work
- Coordinate dependencies between tasks, other product management Teams and Web analysts
- Analyse product developments to understand overall impact and return of investment, and as a result recommend new strategies or activities to drive revenue
Qualifications
Knowledge/Expertise/Qualifications:
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Web Analyst with focus on implementation.
- In-depth Web analysis skills together with comprehensive knowledge about e-commerce, web and mobile applications.
- Deep technical knowledge of Web tracking solutions (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, others) deployed to support operational activity and development projects (including multiple installs and upgrades across global companies).
- Strong analytical skills and process orientation with excellent communications skills.
- High attention to detail and keen eye for accuracy
- Are able to proficiently write JavaScript/HTML/CSS for use with tag management and features building for personalizing content
- You are an expert user in web analytics tools in general
- Familiarity with Ad tags, implementation and enabling a secure implementation.
- Strong knowledge in tracking methods, data layer manipulation, and the transformation and usage of custom JavaScript to Google Tag Manager.
- High-level of expertise on Tags implementation and troubleshooting
- Solid knowledge of Google Analytics APIs
- Advanced proficiency in SQL or JavaScript - Scala or Python knowledge.
- Practical experience with BigQuery
- A team player who loves to collaborate and work with stakeholders from different backgrounds in an international environment
- Knowledge and experience with recent Google technologies and tools such as GA4 properties and Google Ads Data Hub
