Full Description
You’ll own the editorial content and production strategy across the DAZN global for the basketball vertical; The Home of Basketball, in our App, our B2B platform, channels and FAST Channels globally. This is a pivotal leadership role with high visibility and a direct impact on engagement KPIs across the entire customer journey.
Your responsibilities among other will be to be leading and executing the DAZN Basketball content strategy, defining the digital growth strategy within editorial content & engagement, creative design of our website and app, content for social media & media outlets partnerships & comms, live game and no live game content and programming. Ensuring strategic goals and working across department as DTC and marketing for go to market strategy, business analytics, trading, performance, organic media and paid media execution. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the content and production landscape, particularly within the sports and entertainment sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives.

- Drive strategic content growth across DAZN’s linear, FAST, and OTT platforms
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across editorial and content engagement
- Coordinate the core departments & regions to create a unified brand voice and experience at the HOB
- Translate data into action — using insights to shape editorial strategy and platform merchandising
- Develop and monitor KPIs for audience engagement across all channels
- Collaborate with global & regional stakeholders to align engagement strategy with DAZN’s overall business goals
- Ensure cross-platform storytelling by working with content production teams to tailor output for each platform
You'll have:
- Proven leadership experience managing content strategy for OTT platforms and/or linear broadcast or digital media.
- A sharp editorial mindset with deep knowledge of football and multisport culture
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance editorial with business objectives
- Fluency in Spanish(if you are based in Spain) and English
- Strong experience working with BI tools like Tableau or Looker
- Ability to inspire teams across locations and lead with clarity, empathy, and purpose
- A strategic thinker who’s confident presenting data-backed decisions at the exec level
