Job Description
The Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead oversees the development of Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM), and CICD technologies, shaping the infrastructure landscape's key technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team strategy execution, collaborating with engineering, product, and security stakeholders.
- Direct high-level design for stable, secure infrastructure environments aligned with organizational needs and compliance standards.
- Allocate tasks, manage workload distribution, and maintain 24/7 coverage with an organized on-call schedule.
- Collaborate with Core Infrastructure leads to enhance automation, processes, and resolve user challenges.
- Oversee daily support for internal tools and infrastructure, managing customer support contracts.
- Ensure accurate process documentation, including assessments and measurements for projects and team outputs.
- Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network and infrastructure components.
- Provide audit reporting and recommend improvements for infrastructure performance and health.
- Coach and develop team members, fostering upskilling, performance, and recruitment.
- Drive process improvement and champion infrastructure engineering best practices and trends.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to set and communicate team goals aligned with business objectives.
- Recruit, coach, and retain top talent, creating development opportunities.
- Cultivate a positive, motivating work environment.

- Infrastructure Management, Architecture, and Design
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Automation & Orchestration
- Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet
- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V
- Backup Solutions: Netbackup, Veeam
- Monitoring: Icinga, SCOM, Telegraf, Grafana, ELK
- Incident, Change, IT Security, Disaster Recovery, and Asset Management
- Scripting: Bash, PowerShell
