About this team:

The People Analytics & Insights team at lululemon is on a journey to create a high-performance work culture by supporting the People & Culture (HR) organization and the business with data-driven insights. As a Talent Intelligence Lead Analyst you will work closely with the Business Partners, CoEs, P&C Leadership, and the rest of the People Analytics team to innovate and build metrics & analytical products that our business leaders need to help scale and grow lululemon. You will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting stakeholders and partners, using data to influence key strategic business decisions, and scale internal and external market insights as we grow our work. Additionally, you will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and contributing to the consistency of the Partnership vertical within People Analytics.

A day in the life:

  • Collect and analyze market and organizational talent and people data to help inform decisions.
  • Look at trends in the job market and provide insights related to available labor and skills.
  • Support the organization with data and insights related to optimizing the workforce and our people strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leaders to understand key business priorities and challenges to design the right actionable talent metrics and insights.
  • Present data findings and insights across all levels of leadership, including senior leadership, and stakeholders in a compelling way and facilitate discussion.
  • Work on strategically advised project teams to design actionable metrics and analytics from a variety of different internal and external sources.
  • Consult and serve as a liaison on the build and delivery of analytical and BI solutions, such as scorecards and dashboards, including guides and other supportive materials.
  • Scale and champion self-service by guiding stakeholders to find disseminating knowledge and products available to stakeholders to meet their immediate needs.
  • Serve as a liaison back to the broader People Analytics team regarding the needs of the business for roadmap considerations.
  • Analyze and interpret large and complex people data sets to distill insights; connect disparate ideas into cohesive recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide an organized and holistic analysis of the workforce and labor market, including capacity models, skills, and other talent insights.
  • Partner with P&C cross-functional teams as well as P&C Leadership partnerships.
  • Socialize and ensure consistency around data quality through the development of educational programs and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the consistency of the People Analytics Consulting team.
  • Support ad hoc requests for analysis from stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience transforming and analyzing people data from multiple sources to drive business insights.
  • Microsoft suite (Excel, Power BI) proficiency, SQL mastery, and Python or R mastery.
  • Advanced People Analytics and HR Procedural domain knowledge required.
  • Experience with employees, candidate, and organizational data is required.
  • B.A. in I/O Psychology, Computer Science, Economics, or related field required, Masters preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive improved outcomes for the business through analytics.
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation.
  • Proven ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders that tell a compelling story using analytics relevant to the audience.
  • Ability to influence COE partners and stakeholders including COE senior leadership and key cross-functional partners.
  • Discretion and experience working with sensitive and confidential data.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $103,500-$135,900 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
