Reporting into the Sports Presentation, Ceremonies & Entertainment Manager, we are looking to appoint a Sports Presentation Operations Coordinator to support in the delivery of the Women’s RWC25 programme. You will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable and engaging fan experience.

Sports Presentations Operations Coordinator (Women’s RWC England 2025 LOC)

FIXED-TERM CONTRACT UNTIL OCTOBER 2025

BASED IN WEBB ELLIS HOUSE, TWICKENHAM

 

Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament.  World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event.

 

Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. Reporting into the Sports Presentation, Ceremonies & Entertainment Manager, we are looking to appoint a Sports Presentation Operations Coordinator to support in the delivery of the Women’s RWC25 programme. You will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable and engaging fan experience.

 

Sports Presentation has been identified by World Rugby as one of the key differentiators for its events. Our sports presentation strategy sits at the heart of the match day experience to maximise engagement and amplification of events and grow the sport of rugby.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of engaging pre-match and half time entertainment and other events as required ensuring alignment with the event’s objectives and target audience
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including but not limited to Event Operations, Rugby Services, Broadcast, Commercial Operations and Partnerships.
  • Assist in the management of the Sports Presentation delivery partner.
  • Assist in the coordination of all production and entertainment elements from concept to event across the 8 RWC 25 host venues.
  • Co-ordinate logistics, including talent management, scheduling, equipment and personnel as required.
  • Co-ordinate operational requirements with venues and stakeholders including travel and transport, parking, security, catering and equipment.
  • Collaborate with contracted technical teams to ensure all audio, visual and SFX are executed seamlessly.
  • Ensure all ceremonies and presentations comply with safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Support on ceremonies as and where necessary

 

Experience & knowledge you’ll need:

  • Experience within major live event productions
  • Proven experience supporting event planning
  • Experience supporting project planning and management
  • Experience of working with partners and stakeholders
  • Strong administrative experience

 

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in delivering major live event productions within Sports
  • Knowledge and experience of creative processes
  • Production or Stage Management experience
