In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies that drive growth, foster innovation, and secure a competitive advantage. Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth market analysis and evaluating critical business opportunities, including M&A and group-level business development initiatives.
As our Senior Strategy Manager, you will be a critical member of the Strategy team, partnering with our C-Suite and Senior Executive Teams, leading high-impact strategic projects that align with our company’s long-term goals and to inform decision-making at the highest levels of our group.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a management consultant looking utilise their well-developed consulting toolkit within the TV and Entertainment or an experienced corporate advisory professional with a strong M&A background. Ideally, you will be operating at Manager / Lead level.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of long-term strategy and short-term business plans for the Foxtel Group - supporting key business units including BINGE & Kayo Sports
- Support the Leadership Teams to identify, assess, and evaluate key business initiatives through data-driven analysis and business case modelling (e.g., customer acquisition, pricing and revenue optimisation, sports rights acquisition and content licensing)
- Contribute to potential M&A projects and broader corporate development initiatives across the Foxtel Group, identifying opportunities for strategic growth and expansion
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across Research, Insights, Finance, and the Foxtel BU to identify new opportunities that deliver greater in-year benefits and help the group achieve its revenue goals
- Manage and influence stakeholders to empower business decisions in line with our strategic plan and provide input on prioritisation across the group's diverse portfolio.
- Build strong relationships at all levels in teams across the broader Foxtel Group
About your experience
- 7 years + Management Consulting (Tier 1 or 2 highly desirable) or strong M&A Corporate Advisory experience (Big 4 or Investment Banking)
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen with experience and understanding of how to build robust data-led business cases
- Outstanding strategic thinking skills, with an ability to simplify and tackle complex problems
- Strong communicator and team player, with the ability and confidence to present and influence stakeholders, collaborate effectively and to build strong relationships at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and lead projects with minimal guidance
- Excellent ability to create high-quality quantitative analysis and written materials for presentation to C-Suite & Senior Management
- Love for Entertainment, Sport, Media landscape - we’re big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer
