About this team

Quality is at the heart of who we are. The Product Integrity Systems team's key objective is to design and operate the global product integrity system to maximize the product's value to the guest while minimizing risk to the brand. They serve as the global Centre of policy, data, document management, and internal audit to all PI teams.

A day in the life:

The Senior Analyst is an exceptional analytical thinker who is passionate about data promoting product compliance and chemical testing using best-in-class analytics tools. This individual will be part of an analytics team supporting Chemicals Management and partnering with technology, product management, and all product functions from design and development to sourcing, fulfillment, merchandising, planning, and allocation. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for executive-level deliverables, developing analysis methodologies, producing advanced data models, communicating operational metrics to stakeholders, representing business requirements to technology and product management, and conducting user acceptance testing accordingly. Partnering with the same colleagues, the Senior Analyst will champion best practices around data standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsible for:

  • Produce monthly, weekly, daily and ad-hoc reports from leadership and cross-functional partners pertaining to product compliance and chemical testing
  • Compile chemicals test results with other metrics on business performance presented in Power BI, or PowerPoint when applicable for Product and Supply Chain
  • Extract and cleanse data from disparate data sources to conduct operational, strategic, and exploratory analysis in support of strategies, projects, and self-service reporting tools
  • Implement data accuracy strategy including data validation, cross-checking with other sources, and error detection tools
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOP) and associated documentation for existing and new reports
  • Execute Global Product Integrity reporting standard practices and data governance strategy
  • Submit business requirements as necessary to tech/product management, conduct testing, and provide UAT notes
  • Support with data gathering and creation of monthly operational reports and presentations for executive review
  • Drive partnership with fellow team members and cross-functional to share knowledge, documentation, alignment to new solutions, or move projects forward

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of data analytics, data modelling, and reporting, preferable in a retail or supply chain environment
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and/or build complex reporting solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent steams of work with a drive to get things done within tight deadlines
  • Has a strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive clarity in complex and ambiguous scenarios
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, database management, data modelling, and database structures; experience with Smartsheet
  • Excellent communication, spelling and grammatical attention to detail both written and verbal with external and internal stakeholders across all levels with a proven ability to work under pressure
  • Effectively determine type of data visualization tailored to audience needs when sharing findings to leadership
  • Loves problem-solving, strong eye for detail while still being able to see the bigger picture, and proficient with systems-thinking and able to articulate them to various groups across the company
  • Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance

Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $96,800- $121,000  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
