a day in the life: what you'll do

Develop solutions and integrations for payments and financial transaction processing, wholesale transactions, online order capture and export, inventory management, pricing and promotions management, catalog management, search engine management and account, profile and guest purchase preferences, guest identity resolution using Commerce tools, Oracle ATG, NextJS Framework, GraphQL, Apigee, Fusion Search, IBM Sterling, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Abilene CDP & AWS cloud. Co-create end-to-end solution designs and Technology Roadmaps in collaboration with Business partners and IT leadership that supports the digital ecommerce business. Support business and digital teams to develop business case/KPIs and high-level options/cross domain impacts and provide inputs into Steering committee discussions. Support solution alignment to Architecture Policies, Principles, and Standards with oversight into solution architecture for the projects/initiatives. Manage the portfolio (application lifecycles and investment disposition in co-ordination with technology managers) for applications scoped to the commerce domain and integrated with ecommerce systems. Document and communicate the risks and assumptions based on proposed solution options. Assess architectural significance of initiatives and triage/setup Architecture Review Board meetings as needed. Partner with other Domain Architects, Technology Directors and Divisional Executives to define and describe the most important architecture and engineering capabilities under management. Support Program delivery by setting solution development priorities for Solution Architects, Lead Engineers, Lead Business Analysts and Technology Manager. Research and summarize industry trends and practices; presents recommendations based on findings.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/week

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, plus 8 years of work experience in (5 of which must be progressive, post-baccalaureate) Information Technology.

Of the required experience, must have 8 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

Developing e-commerce solution designs and strategies that leverage capabilities or integrations with Oracle ATG Commerce and IBM Sterling Distributed Order Management;

Defining the process, operations, and structural measures that system-level solutions must meet during implementation;

Identifying and encoding compliance and non-functional requirements for solution architectures, considering accessibility, achievability, authentication, authorization, legal, privacy, security, supportability, and usability;

Defining and prescribing the architectural modularity characteristics of software solution designs, including cohesion, coupling, abstractness, connascence and stability; and,

Defining and describing the software delivery capabilities that implementation teams must use, including continuous integration, software release management tools, security mitigations, code integration and review procedures, software testing and data management.

Of the required experience must have 2 years of experience developing e-commerce solution designs and strategies in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

Headless fronted architectures and micro-frontends;

Rest API designs and scalability for multi-channel usage including websites and native apps;

Capabilities or integrations with Demandware and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commerce Tools, Search Engines (Fusion or Endeca), Catalog & Pricing Systems, Identity Systems, Marketing Systems, and Order Management Systems; and

Development of multi-locale, multi-language websites for global e-commerce.

workplace arrangement

Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Workplace Policy.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $253,315.00– $273,315.00annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
