Our Commercial Finance team is deeply embedded within the business, acting as a critical strategic partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we execute a bold strategy to expand our streaming brands Kayo Sports and BINGE while maintaining the strength of our premium Foxtel product. 

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be at the heart of our streaming brands' revenue ambitions, directly influencing group decision-making and performance through high-quality financial and commercial analysis. 

As our Senior Finance Business Partner, your expertise will be crucial in supporting senior operational and commercial stakeholders with pricing, investment, and cost optimisation strategies, ultimately delivering strong financial outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the short and long-term revenue budgeting and forecasting for our streaming portfolio Kayo Sports & BINGE, partnering with stakeholders on product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. 
• Collaborate with the business on weekly operating rhythms to review performance, marketing campaigns, and commercial partnership deals. 
• Lead financial modelling for business cases, including scenario analysis and sensitivities, to support critical investment decisions and negotiations. 
• Build deep, trusted relationships with business stakeholders to influence, challenge, and execute initiatives that achieve business unit and Group goals. 
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, aligning with our dynamic operating model. 
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. 

About your experience

• 10+ years of experience in accounting / commercial finance, with a strong understanding of commercial valuations and strategy (Big 4 / Mid Tier experience highly regarded). 
• Proven experience within the TV/Media or subscription revenue business sectors is highly desirable. 
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead discussions based on robust commercial and financial modelling insights. 
• Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, adept at gathering timely information and assumptions across finance and business functions for commercial analysis. 
• Prior people leadership experience, including developing high-performing teams. 
• A results-driven, proactive leader who thrives under pressure, manages multiple priorities effectively, and maintains high-quality output. 
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, uncertainty, and complex environments, adapting to challenges and opportunities as they arise. 
• A genuine passion for Entertainment – understanding our product and our customers is key!
