about this role

As part of the corporate Compensation team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Compensation, as a Senior Compensation Analyst at lululemon, you will act as a consultative partner to P&C Business Partners as well as business leaders. You are responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of compensation processes and policies that support our people, working on various compensation initiatives including bonus calculations, market benchmarking, and trend analysis.

Working with the team, you'll take on interesting projects, while demonstrating your entrepreneurial drive and ability to thrive in a growth environment.

a day in the life:

  • Partner with P&C Business Partners to proactively support their business groups with compensation queries and processes, while ensuring competitive market positioning
  • Work with P&C Business Partners and leaders to job level roles in the organization
  • Support lululemon's annual performance and compensation cycles through data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and the development of communications
  • Dive into market data to ensure that our compensation planning, frameworks, and policies are aligned to company strategies and goals
  • Proactively bring market intelligence to the decisions we make to ensure our compensation programs are in line with our philosophy and beliefs
  • Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information
  • Opportunities to support and/or lead broad compensation projects that come up throughout the organization

qualifications:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in compensation, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., finance, HR)
  • Exposure to HRIS (Workday preferred) back-end with a curiosity on how the back-end data comes together
  • Highly proficient in Excel, specifically with formulas and model building
  • Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy
  • Effective communication and change management skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Highly ethical and able to deal with sensitives issues with tact, discretion & confidentiality

compensation and benefits package:

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 to $107,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
