Job Description
As a Retention Analyst, you will be responsible for the assessment of the value returned by CRM marketing spend. You will be providing valuable insight into customers' behaviour at different stages of their relationship with the company, making recommendations on relationship strategies for different customer segments, and helping to initiate and implement CRM initiatives that will boost brand and customer loyalty.
Reporting to the Head of Retention Insight Operation & Change, you will be part of the Retention Analytics team and working closely with the marketing teams in designing engaging campaigns that can be measured and conducting the pre campaign analysis and cost estimations.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the marketing and commercial teams to design and implement data-driven solutions to track and improve customer retention across UK brands.
- Lead the delivery of customer insights and conduct in-depth analysis to drive data-based decision-making for key customer retention activities across marketing and commercial.
- Develop and automate advanced reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Lead the identification and implementation of efficiency improvements and quality enhancements within retention processes.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses to calculate the return on investment (ROI) for complex CRM initiatives and retention marketing strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions that optimize customer loyalty and lifetime value.
- Educate business users and leaders on measuring performance and interpreting results, providing fact-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Retention Analyst and BI team to develop automated solutions for recurring analyses and reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in marketing analytics, CRM, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in CRM analysis or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for advanced data analysis.
- Advanced expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate complex insights effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and influencing data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement in data analysis techniques, tools, and automation.
- Strong analytical mindset and an eagerness to learn and grow in the field of marketing analytics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for data-driven marketing and deriving insights from customer behaviour.
