Who we are

lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.

About this team

Our Store Evolution (OSE) is a transformation project of our Retail Workforce Strategy with the objective to implement an evolved leadership structure and scalable org model that supports all types of educators, stores, markets, concepts, and strategies to provide greater clarity, connection, and consistency within our experience.

A day in the life:

  • Define the goals and objectives of OSE in Asia Pacific, identify the central challenges and opportunities facing the workforce, and ensure the project supports the complexity and business needs of our markets.
  • Create a governance structure, identify the appropriate partners, and establish roles and responsibilities to ensure decisions are made by the appropriate parties, including approval and alignment with Senior Leadership.
  • Establish required funding and produce Annual Operating Plan (AOP) guidance for multi-year implementation. Forecast key components of planning implementation for leadership approval. Track and manage the budget throughout the project.
  • Develop, design, scale, and operationalize a new headcount modelling that enables our business strategy, delivers on guest experience, and creates the conditions for our people to contribute the best of themselves.
  • Develop a change management strategy to identify change impacts, inform communication, engagement, training, and knowledge transfer, enabling stakeholders to operate in the future state.
  • Work with RP&A, P&C, and Compensation to review compensation structure and future strategy, ensuring optimal scheduling and availability.
  • Engage Legal, Technology, and Learning Design to evolve the organization from its current state to the future state population.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and create an organized and layered SharePoint hub to compile all project documents and resources, granting access to all key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates to leaders, team members, and cross-functional partners. Schedule a team risk and mitigation review in regular cadence.
  • Continue assessment of new headcount model, assess for any potential change, and adjust as needed based on analytics and actualization by reviewing business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or applicable experience
  • Program management experience required, change management experience preferred
  • 8 years of relative experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, global, specialty retail environment
  • Ability to influence and manage conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels
  • Ability to gain approval from senior leaders through cross functional collaboration and decision making with key stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing multiple diverse projects within related field
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, negotiation and presentation. Must be able to communicate technical and project management concepts in business-oriented terms.

  • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
  • Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same.
