The role:Product Manager, Fan Engagement - Widgets & MarketplaceAs a Product Manager, Fan Engagement - Widgets & Marketplace, reporting directly to the VP of Fan Engagement, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and optimize our fan engagement offerings. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining innovative widgets (data insights, visualizations, game trackers, mini-games), how they are discovered, and how they are consumed by our fans. These widgets  leverage real-time sports data and next-generation GeniusIQ statistics to drive repeat fan engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Fan Engagement: Develop and optimize widgets and embeddable content for websites, ensuring they leverage real-time sports data and insights to captivate fans and encourage ongoing interaction.
  • Drive Discovery and Adoption: Design and develop a platform that enables customers with minimal technical expertise to easily discover and deploy Genius assets across their digital properties.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with architects, developers, and testers to ensure that our fan engagement products are built to the highest standards and meet the needs of our users.
  • Innovate and Evolve: Identify opportunities to enhance existing products and introduce new features that increase fan interaction and satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and user feedback to inform product decisions, prioritize initiatives, and refine the product roadmap.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, competitive products, and industry advancements to ensure our offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant to fans.
  • User Experience: Focus on creating intuitive, seamless, and personalized user experiences across our widget and website products.

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on customer or fan engagement across digital platforms such as mobile, web, or OTT.
  • Proven track record in managing B2C or B2B2C product roadmaps, including defining, executing, and communicating strategies that drive engagement and retention.
  • Experience with data-driven decision making, applying insights from market trends, user feedback, and analytics to shape product direction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels within the organization.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in fan engagement. 

The salary for this role is based on an annualized salary range of $140,000 - $165,000. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.
