Full Description
THE ROLE:
An experienced, senior leader in Customer Success, responsible for maximising value and outcomes for key media clients within Genius Sports. You are a strategic partner and trusted advisor to all clients, driving performance, adoption, and retention across their portfolio. As an individual contributor, you leverage deep programmatic expertise and strong industry perspective without direct team management responsibilities.
- Ownership of relationships and client revenue growth—acting as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for senior stakeholders.
- Drive strategic conversations focused on business outcomes, client needs, and exceeding expectations in programmatic ad tech and other paid media channels from time to time.
- Deliver insight and expertise across full funnel strategies, omni-channel programmatic, and customer journey design.
- Forecast spend and revenue for assigned client accounts, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and present strategic account plans, QBRs, and performance reviews to client executive teams, ensuring alignment and impact.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Ops to deliver complex solutions and exceptional experiences for clients.
- Identify and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities, partnering closely with Growth/CS leadership, but owning delivery for assigned clients.
- Provide technical insight on attribution models, measurement, and programmatic solutions as they relate to customer goals.
- Champion adoption and retention across your portfolio, securing renewals and expanding footprint within client organisations.
- Act as an industry thought leader, contributing POVs and strategic input roadmap and external-facing industry discussions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 8+ years’ experience in programmatic media/ad tech, customer success, or digital marketing.
- Proven success managing high-value customer relationships, negotiating renewals, and driving strategic change.
- Experience with Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Ad Serving, and data analytics.
- Experience in Gambling Sector is desirable
- Advanced communication, consultative selling and stakeholder management ability.
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and uncompromising attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise in a dynamic, evolving environment and operate independently at director level.
- Experience in the Gambling sector desirable but not essential.
- Genuine passion for digital media, ad tech, and customer value creation.
