Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
The resource will work with the staff operating in the competition venue, supporting the activities of the Ice Hockey Sport Team.
The main duties and responsibilities will be:
Event Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the Test Event, Olympic and Paralympic team to develop and implement sport-specific operational plans.
- Support venue preparation, including field of play setup, athletes specific area, equipment logistics, and athlete services.
- Ensure compliance with International Federation regulations and Olympic standards.
- Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving between Event Management, Competition Management, and other involved functional areas.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide ice hockey-specific expertise to address technical requirements and resolve issues during the planning and execution phases.
Operational Support:
- Assist in managing the sport specific area readiness on a daily basis
- Assist in managing team logistics and accreditation processes.
- Provide real-time solutions during the event
Requirements
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Professional approach, self-management, punctuality
