Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

he candidate will support the Corporate Safety and Health Function, reporting directly to the HSE Director, and will be involved in various health, safety, and environmental activities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying risk factors and supporting the risk assessment process in compliance with Italian HSE regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08).
  • Help coordinate training activities and health surveillance plans.
  • Provide support in reviewing HSE requirements within contractors’ contracts.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of preventive and protective measures related to workplace and environmental safety.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal audits and on-site safety inspections.
  • Follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits and near-miss analyses.
  • Participate in safety-related project activities and act as a point of contact for the HSE Function.
  • Collaborate with suppliers involved in safety management tasks.
  • Assist in maintaining communication with regulatory bodies and local authorities regarding health and safety matters.
  • Support the preparation of operational and technical safety documentation in coordination with other corporate functions.
  • Help organize internal training sessions on health, safety, and environmental topics.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with company HSE policies.
  • Assist in drafting safety coordination documents (e.g., DUVRI) and managing interference risks.
  • Verify contractor documentation in accordance with art. 26, paragraph 8 of Legislative Decree 81/2008.


Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in projects, events, or consulting environments.
  • Familiarity with construction site safety and audit processes is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Safety, or related fields).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Certifications are a plus.
