Job Description
As a Senior People Projects & Change Manager you will be responsible for responsible for leading and managing our people, HR and HR tech projects in the People function. You will champion change and global alignment throughout the team driving scalable improvements.
Reporting to the Programme Lead you will be part of the People Service Department.
We are looking for someone who has experience in deploying large scale technology, process and people-related change to a global audience. You will be passionate about people experience and project management and, while working with a global transformation programme lead, will bring structure and pace of progress for complex, multi-year, programmes of work and transformation.
You'll be working alongside an organisational cross-functional team to ensure we're applying the best project management methodologies and principles to enable the best work to be delivered on time and within budget. You'll be an expert in creating detailed project plans, RAID reports and reporting progress updates to key business stakeholders.
What you will do
- Project Planning: Developing a comprehensive plan for the implementation, including timelines, resources, and milestones
- Stakeholder Management: Engaging with key stakeholders across HR, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and manage expectations
- Team Leadership: Leading a team of HR professionals, IT specialists, and consultants through the implementation process, ensuring that everyone is clear on their role in the project and delivers to agreed timelines
- Line Management: Managing and training of one or more junior Project Manager(s) ensuring that development plans are in place and regular feedback is provided
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to the project and developing mitigation plans to minimize their impact
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Managing the project budget and allocating resources effectively to ensure the project stays on track
- Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of the project's progress, documenting decisions and changes, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Communication and Change Management: Implementing strategies to manage change within the organisation, including communication plans, business adoption or training programs, and addressing resistance. Working with the internal comms team to develop project-related communications.
- Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of the implementation process and deliverables to ensure they meet the organisation's standards
- Problem Solving: Addressing issues and obstacles that arise during the implementation process, finding creative solutions to keep the project moving forward
- Post-Implementation Plan: Planning for handover to the business teams responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the system
Qualifications
- Experience in leading the HR projects on a global scale, end to end.
- Experience working with People Functions
- Experience in planning and managing change and business adoption activities on projects
- Strong proficiency in both verbal and written English and editing skills
- Technology savvy, self-starter with a passion for project work, leading and driving initiatives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Comfortable communicating with and tailoring messages to audiences of different levels
- Ability to consult, collaborate and interview specialists to translate and simplify messages for a specific group
- Strong Proficiency with MS Office 365, (Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint) experience with document formatting and file management
- Strong business insight and judgment to navigate ambiguity and lead through change in a fast-paced environment with strong written and oral communication skills
