About this team

You live and breathe the lululemon brand, and are an inspirational leader to the organization. The community team creates word-of-mouth excitement and grows the lululemon collective by sharing our best in the world technical product with key fitness and lifestyle influencers, media, local partners, by creating best-in-class experiences and working with the Brand team to amplify this to the collective. The community team drives the local strategy and builds a plan that comprises broad and deep tactics to accelerate growth and long-term brand love and are best in the world at building relationships, online to offline tactics and delivery of KPI's.

A day in the life:

Reporting to Head of Marketing, Korea. The Community Lead creates the Korea Community Foundations strategy, including overseeing and innovating the Local Ambassador Program, bringing our unique Events to life, and drive community connection and brand relevance through New Store Openings. Community lead executes engaging and innovative community tactics to raise brand awareness, acquire and retain guests.

  • Build out Korea Community Foundations strategy and manage all Community Initiatives & Programs
  • Roll out and manage the Community Foundations Lead program. Coach stores and Community Foundations Lead, in partnership with retail teams, to deliver effective marketing to build long-term brand equity and accomplish Brand & Community objectives
  • Build out and oversee Korea Ambassador program strategy and operations taking into account the Korea business objectives and Ambassador framework. Work closely in partnership with APAC community team to diversify roster, drive awareness and local relevance
  • Develop pipeline and collaborate with cities and local community to identify top talent in market. Maintain successful brand relationships with a specific number of Ambassadors, including but not limited to: contract negotiation and fulfilment, onboarding, continuous relationship management, marketing & amplification tactics.
  • Create and execute events & brand partnerships around key brand moments in partnership with retail teams.
  • Support market growth and category expansion as well as successful new-store openings by creating sustainable and strategic community plans in partnership with the Regional Managers, Store Managers and New Store opening team
  • Work closely with Korea Brand & PR team to integrate talent into brand campaigns, experiences, internal moments, media events, amplification opportunities and social content.
  • Research and stay up to date on the wellness, sport and influencer landscape and implement opportunities to innovate within your strategy
  • Manage strategic materials, budgets, reporting tools and monitor key metrics

Qualifications:

  • You're someone who wants to grow as a person and thrive in a culture of leadership development, goal setting and straight talk
  • 5 years' relevant experience in the marketing field with a high profile, globally branded organization.
  • Successful experience and proven ability to work well with others across the business in a matrix environment
  • Capacity to work effectively with a wide range of people, build relationships, be diplomatic, and exhibit sensitivity to and understanding of the dynamics of a complex organization
  • Effective written and communication skills (English)
  • Ability to balance fun, innovation and bottom line business needs
  • Sports marketing or influencer marketing experience is a plus
