We are on a mission to revolutionize the way fans experience sport.   Leading and executing the DAZN Basketball DTC strategy, defining the digital growth strategy, customer acquisition and retention, and revenue generation from subscription and channels (including, merchandising, gamification, betting etc.). Ensuring strategic goals and financial targets on website, tablets or mobile platform, working across department as marketing for business analytics, trading, performance, organic media and paid media execution.

This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the DTC landscape, particularly within the sports and entertainment sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive DTC strategies that align with business objectives.

  • DTC Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a global DTC strategy, revenue and financial goals, that amplifies DAZN's brand  and supports subscriber acquisition and retention.
  • DTC Planning: Oversee all aspects of DTC, packaging, pricing, acquisition plan, retention, across traditional and digital channels, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Partnership Management: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships and affiliation programs with stakeholders as Leagues, teams, federations, media outlets, agencies, and platforms to expand DAZN's reach and engagement.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of media initiatives, making informed adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing media team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the media budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources in line with organizational objectives.


You'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DTC strategy, planning, and buying, with a significant portion in leadership roles within the sports or entertainment industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing DTC strategy and implementation  that drive brand growth and consumer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving media landscape, including digital, social, and emerging platforms.
