The Role

As a Technical Production Manager, you’ll be the backbone of DAZN’s live and host broadcast operations. You’ll coordinate and implement the technical workflows for major sports productions, ensuring reliable, high-quality content delivery across multiple platforms. You’ll liaise with broadcasters, production teams, facilities providers, and internal stakeholders to align on logistics, technology infrastructure, and signal paths. Your responsibility spans pre-production planning, live event execution, and post-event reporting—making sure every broadcast is smooth, compliant, and ready to captivate audiences. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented team player with a passion for live sports and broadcast innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Be the main responsible for all technical assessment and coordination with DAZN central team
• Verify and maintain all the technical requirements necessary for the live and non-live productions to be delivered at the highest standards on the market
• Focal point with DAZN Facilities team on all Technical and Technology assessment for the New Offices localization 
• Being responsible for contracting and distributing satellites and fibers between the local team and the central teams, in conjunction with other markets
• Responsible for all the technical support within DAZN Portugal's vendors and providers, including studios, signal delivery outputs, fiber connectivity with the Telcos/Distribution partners and in charge of all production and playout services maintenance
• Articulate with the central teams any Materials and Services delivery management services needed for the local editorial teams to carry out their duties
• Being responsible for the maintenance and technical monitoring on the DAZN Portugal's narration booths and video broadcast IP services
• Responsible for all the technical visits to host broadcast operations (we are already delivering the UEL and UConference league matches performed in Portugal)

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in a similar production management or technical broadcast role
• Have operational knowledge of TV studio broadcast, video podcast, studio illumination an GFX insertion
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages a plus)
• Detail-oriented technical skills and familiarity with broadcast systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Proactive, team-first attitude with flexibility around match/event timings including some experience with leading teams and pushing projects through.
