WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will work closely with your supply teammates and inventory counter parts to ensure plans and actions are aligned Long Term, Pre-season and In-season. Partner closely with the x-functional DSM teams, including consumer planning and responsive teams to flag exceptional supply risk, highlight opportunities and drive actions to resolve issues. You will work together with Global Supply Planning to understand key risks and capacity challenges. Other key stakeholders are Marketplace Operations, Nike Value Stores, Logistic partners and Merchandising.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Here at Nike European Headquarters we are looking for a Supply and Inventory Planner! As our Supply and Inventory Planner you are responsible for managing the process that secures the right supply to deliver marketplace strategy. The role requires you to identify and flag the commercial risks and opportunities associated with supply and inventory. You will need a comprehensive understanding of how Nike supply chain operates, ability to explain complex issues in a compelling manner as well as the drive to pursue collaborative solutions should issues occur. You are expected to contribute to an evolving S&IP culture that values diversity, cultivates development, and emphasizes teamwork.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the below criteria;
- Previous experience in a supply chain or a supply planning or inventory planning focused role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead through others and engage effectively with a broad range of audiences
- Proven ability to drive clarity and prioritize based on current and future needs of the business and organization.
- A self-starter mentality, proactive in seeking information and be eager to drive and own end to end communication with results driven mindset.
- Deep analytical skills, and an affinity for reporting and visualization tools. Thinks beyond prescribed solution and leverages a growth mindset to maximize outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
- Execute) Deliver and execute the buy strategy across all supply chain models. Propose and manage buy decisions to deliver results against targeted inventory objectives to balance healthy inventory with revenue and margin
- (Responsive) Proactively address Responsive assortment and opportunities in the buy strategy. Work x-functionally to understand and maintain healthy ATP levels
- (Stakeholders) Work cross-functionally to ensure successful buying, planning and delivery of your category. Be a promoter of S&IP across key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely and leverage the shared knowledge of the S&I team to build process, share best practice and functional responsibilities for different business models.
- Partner with Inventory Ops and Inventory Managers to understand current inventory position.
- Understand current business dynamics and priorities and translate those into optimal buy decisions.
- (Problem Solve) Proactively and independently address, resolve, and call out any potential issues affecting the availability of product or inventory health.
- (Projects) Identify and deliver on improvement opportunities to support the strategic growth of the S&IP function.
- Monitor supply health and communicate to key stakeholders. Deliver results vs targeted WOS objectives to drive healthy inventory and ultimately sales and margin
- Monitor Marketplace updates and key seasonal brand/product stories collaborating with consumer planning and merch
