THE CHALLENGE:   

  • Be a driver and evangelist for a technical development in the team
  • Use ATDD/BDD techniques in your daily work
  • Use AWS, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI
  • Build high performance services/products on top of our real-time sports data collected 24/7 globally for more than 30 different sports
  • A real opportunity to influence the design and technology 
  • Become a domain expert in the exciting world of real-time hi-tech sports data 
  • Help your team mates grow professionally through mentoring and coaching

 



Qualifications

You are a senior developer who likes solving challenging problems and being focused at work. Learning is a natural part of your workday. You enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of people, you are passionate about what you do, have a high interest in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise and you look at programming languages as tools and not constraints. You are curious about both technology and people. You acknowledge that the most complex problems are really people based. Besides of all of that you're not afraid to go out of your comfort zone.  

 

Required:   

  • Engineering leadership skills where people see you as a role model.
  • Min. 6 years of experience in a developer role
  • A test-first mindset where your values are aligned with engineering quality practices 
  • Strong programming skills enabling you to deliver software with high performance, availability,  and throughput
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages [Java] and clean code/architecture principles 
  • A personal interest in keeping up with the general trends of software product development   
  • A can-do attitude, take pride in own work and an ability to keep up momentum  

  

Desirable experience: 

  • Worked in Agile development teams  
  • Cloud based services from AWS   
  • Distributed systems   
  • Message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka)   
  • Docker, Kubernetes   
  • Protobuf & GRPC
