About the opportunity: We are currently looking for a Stadium Tour Coordinator to join our Commercial Department. 

As Stadium Tour Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the Tours and Commercial Events Manager, assisting in the seamless organisation, coordination, and delivery of the Club’s tour offerings. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that all operational and logistical aspects of stadium tours run smoothly and to the highest standard. 

You will be responsible for the casual pool of tour guides and tour operators, you will help manage schedules, communication, and resources to ensure every visitor enjoys a memorable and professional experience. 

You will also have the responsibility to source group bookings, new sales from the tourism sector and complete the tours schedule with correct staffing numbers.  

Who we’re looking for: Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, have a passion for creating welcoming front-of-house environments, and possess excellent administrative and organisational skills. 

Motivated and driven our successful candidate will also demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience: 

  • Travel and Tourism qualification  

  • Experience of the stadium tour delivery and products 

  • In depth knowledge with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook  

  • Impeccable organisational skills  

  • Attention to Detail: accuracy in booking systems, tour manifests, emails, and documentation 

  • Very high standard of written English as well as professional communication skills over the telephone and face-to-face 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships 

  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, concisely, confidently and constructively to ensure mutual understanding 

  • Ability to resolve matters arising creatively and productively   

  • Experience in operational functions at a stadium or similar venue  

  • Willing and able to commit to working evenings and weekends as required

The working hours for this role are 35 per week and will be offered on a permanent contract. This role will be based across the Royal Liver Building Head Office, Goodison Park and Hill Dickinson Stadium when required.
