Full Description
The Sr. Manager, Talent Planning & Analytics (TPA) will report to the Director, Talent Data & Systems within the HR function. They are accountable for the strategy and execution of the TPA department, including headcount and personnel cost planning, workforce and people analytics, and the coaching & developing of a team of two direct reports.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Serve as a member of the Talent Data & Systems leadership team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration to drive data quality, integration, and system optimization.
- Lead collaboration with internal Talent partners to identify key challenges and opportunities to increase data literacy and leverage data in other areas across the broader department.
- Partner with stakeholders at Red Bull Headquarters in Austria to continually drive TPA forward as a global function
- Set the direction and strategy of TPA annually, identifying key priorities, projects, and programs
- Lead and develop a team of two direct reports in the execution & delivery of regular TPA projects & programs and as consultative partners around data to talent department colleagues
HEADCOUNT & PERSONNEL COST PLANNING
- Lead all aspects of headcount and personnel cost planning for all North American entities, ensuring full integration with annual organization-wide business planning and adhering to global timelines
- Deliver cost modeling solutions in partnership with local finance and compensation teams, to facilitate scenario testing and input for planning
- Drive efficiencies in the organization-wide headcount request process to ensure full alignment across stakeholders, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition partners
WORKFORCE & PEOPLE ANALYTICS
- Leverage new advancements in technology to enhance HR data capabilities, improve visualization tool performance, and drive relevance & utilization of HR datasets across the organization.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for statistical analyses or predictive modeling to forecast trends and understand how HR performance indicators drive business success
- Shape the way HR data is used to make decisions across all Red Bull North American entities to build and empower high-performing teams
- Drive & enable a culture of data-driven decision-making, and influencing, within the HR department
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for new HR data products, projects, or programs
EXPERIENCE Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 7+ years of quantitative work experience in HR analytics, workforce planning and/or financial analysis
- Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, or I/O Psychology/Design preferred
- Experience leading teams in a business environment
- Experience leading projects and processes with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a global, matrixed organization a plus.
- Experience translating technical information for non-technical audiences, and telling stories with data
- Advanced-level Excel skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience with SAP HR, SAP BI, or Anaplan a plus
