We are excited to welcome an experienced, entrepreneurial individual to our growing On team as a Sales Representative for the GSG (General Sporting Goods). Our success is built on achieving sustained growth with Japan's leading retailers and major multi-brand sports stores. This role will take on the responsibility of a Sales Representative, aiming for strong collaboration with assigned accounts, driving sales, and ensuring balanced, sustainable business expansion.
Your Mission
- Sell-out Management: Analyze sales, inventory, and store status for assigned large sports chains; then plan, execute, and manage appropriate Sell-out strategies while maintaining close ties with client departments
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute On’s business growth strategy for assigned large sports chains
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze client performance data to propose optimized delivery and assortment plans
- VMD Leadership: Propose and manage in-store Visual Merchandising (VMD) that balances On’s premium brand identity with an exceptional customer shopping experience
- Sales Promotion: Propose, execute, and manage seasonal sales promotions with customers
- Communication: Ensure seamless and effective communication between clients and the On Japan team
- Strategic Planning: Set clear goals and KPIs for each partner, developing and executing tailored customer plans
- Brand Integrity: Realize On's desired premium brand representation in collaboration with the account
Your story
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B Sales (Sports industry preferred) or as a Buyer in the retail industry
- Initiative Proactive in generating creative ideas, combined with the humility to listen to and integrate others' perspectives
- Logical Thinking: Ability to logically connect creative ideas with sales figures and data
- Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, able to work effectively without close supervision while collaborating with the team as needed
- Analytical Proficiency: Well-versed in sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis, with a high degree of comfort handling numbers
- Language: Native-level Japanese (Writing/Speaking) is required; business-level English is a plus but not mandatory

Bring any questions you have about the job, the team or anything else you might like to know – this is an open forum.

The Case Study

Designed to give everyone their best shot, your case study is based on something you might typically experience on the job. This is your chance to show us what you’ve got. So express yourself. Step Five
The Experience Day
Your first taste of the Oniverse. This is a time to meet some of the people you'll be working closest with. In person or virtually, you'll get a feel for the day-to-day at On and the people who make it happen. You'll chat with a few potential teammates - the conversations will be as equally driven by the role and your experience as by our values. We believe how you do things is just as important as what you do.

The Result
