Overview

As a Software Frontend Engineer III at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG, your role will span across the Digital Sports and Sports Betting markets. We work cross-functionally and drive innovative solutions across the Fanatics Ecosystem.

The Product you'll be working on

Our team aims to be the #1 sports app in the US and to change the way fans connect with their favorite sports, teams, and players. We want to delight and surprise users through compelling news, scores, Free To Play, content & community experience - the role will be crucial in helping define, deliver, and operate these platforms

Responsibilities

• You like ownership and autonomy – we're a small team and rely on our engineers to take problems and run with them. We believe trust is the foundation of high-performing teams and will give you the space to do your best work.
• You sweat the details – sometimes, the little things make or break a user's experience, and you don't stop until a feature is complete, polished, and ready to ship.
• You internalize UX requirements and have opinions about the types of APIs you like to consume.
• You like to work collaboratively – our teams are cross-functional and work closely with Product managers to arrive at solutions. You should enjoy working closely with people with other strengths and value open, clear communication.
• You have a solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JS concepts.

Qualifications

We value aptitude over experience, but here are some key skills that will make you successful on this team:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience implementing web applications and web pages to support mobile apps using a modern technical stack (Javascript, React Components, Node.js, Angular.js)
• Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a continuous delivery environment.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product management, other engineering teams, and the quality team to deliver the correct product.
• Experience designing and implementing large and complex software products.
• Positive and flexible attitude to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 -$240,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award. *Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country of residence. In addition to the base, bonus, and equity, full-time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, paid time off, and other benefits like GymPass, Pet Insurance, Family Care Benefits, Free Shipt deliveries, and more.

We'll also give you $700 to set up your home office!
