Technical Sourcer – Engineering

About the Role:
We are looking for a Technical Sourcer with a sharp eye for top engineering talent to support our growing product and engineering teams. In this role, you'll act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, helping to build and manage a strong pipeline of candidates across key technical roles. You'll be the first point of contact for candidates and play a vital part in shaping the engineering hiring funnel through proactive sourcing and effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and engage top-tier engineering talent for roles such as Software Engineers (Backend, Frontend, Fullstack), DevOps, QA, and Data Engineers.
  Build and manage a robust candidate pipeline using a combination of sourcing strategies—LinkedIn, GitHub, Boolean search, networking, referrals, and more.
• Collaborate closely with US-based engineering hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities.
• Maintain consistent and engaging communication with both active and passive candidates, ensuring a high-quality experience.
• Align with recruiters and hiring managers to manage expectations on hiring timelines, market trends, and candidate quality.
• Track sourcing metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline health and progress.

• Pipeline Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, and nurture engineering candidates effectively, building long-term relationships.
• Collaboration: Proven track record of partnering with engineering teams and technical stakeholders, particularly in the US market.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to engage both technical candidates and internal teams with clarity and impact.
• Expectation Management: Skilled in aligning hiring managers on market realities, candidate flow, and hiring timelines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably supporting engineering hiring for US-based companies or teams.
  Strong understanding of engineering roles, technologies, and skill sets.
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Boolean/X-ray search techniques.
• Flexibility to work hours that align with US time zones.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and reporting tools.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and excellent at prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
