Engineer II Software

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks in warehouse orchestration and fulfillment workflows.
• Design and implement AI/ML-driven quality validation for warehouse process optimization, image processing for defect detection, and anomaly detection in order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and operations teams to enhance automation and quality initiatives.
• Contribute to SDET efforts by implementing Playwright for UI automation, Postman for API automation, and LPT for large-scale performance testing.
• Develop monitoring and reporting dashboards using Grafana to track test results and warehouse performance metrics.
• Ensure integration of Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) with AI-driven optimizations.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Vault for secure secrets management.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous testing automation improvements in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in software development or SDET-focused roles within Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Automation systems.
• Proficiency in Golang, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Pytest, or Cypress).
• Strong understanding of API automation, UI automation, and performance testing (LPT, JMeter, or K6).
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based test validation and image processing techniques for warehouse operations.
• Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations such as receiving, putaway, picking, and sortation is a plus.
