JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Managed Platform Services (MSS) tribe in Seville, Spain. We are looking for a capable team leader with a strong technical foundation to drive one of our Service Reliability Engineering teams. As SRE Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that service quality is aligned with business expectations whilst our platform is operating at the right level of performance 24x7. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about investigating, learning, and implementing new ideas and technologies while going beyond the job description to help where needed. At Sportradar, you will play a pivotal role in leading and guiding the most important part of our organization - our people!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a distributed team of Service Reliability engineers, monitoring their performance and taking proactive action to guarantee continuous improvement in the team´s ways of working and efficiency
- Ensure 24/7 on-call readiness of the team to respond to escalated incidents
- Take active part defining and adopting global and internal reliability targets
- Implement and maintain the practice of continuous monitoring of internal and production environments to meet global and internal SLOs
- Implement and maintain the practice of instant proactive and reactive response to production incidents
- Define, follow and share Troubleshooting protocols and post-incident debrief routines
- Create and maintain field-facing knowledge base and documentation, and provide trainings to relevant Service teams when required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud providers and virtualization.
- Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills.
