Full Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets from various supply chain functions (e.g., inventory planning, procurement, distribution, transportation) and generate actionable insights bringing end-to-end supply chain visibility.
- Supply Chain Network Design & Optimization: Leverage modeling tools along with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to optimize supply chain networks, including site selection, transportation routes, warehouse configuration and sourcing optimization.
- Model Development & Optimization: Develop and implement supply chain models using Python, R, or other advanced modeling tools. Work on optimizing processes related to end-to-end supply chain, planning, network design, inventory management, and distribution.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with supply chain leadership, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and integration across systems, while supporting cross-functional business teams in leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Tool Development & Automation: Build and automate dashboards, reports, and scripts using Python, R, or other BI tools to provide real-time insights and enhance supply chain cost to serve efficiency while protecting service.
- Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve supply chain operations and adopt industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, business analysis, or a related field, with a focus on data science and optimization.
- Proven experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques in a supply chain context.
- Experience leading supply chain network optimization initiatives with a strong track record of managing the full lifecycle—from data selection and scenario development to implementation and analysis.
- Proficient leveraging supply chain modeling tools like Optilogic or Llamasoft
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI) and experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex supply chain problems using data-driven approaches and optimization techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data findings and technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
