As the Senior Manager, Data Analytics Marketing at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you will be responsible for driving strategic insights and initiatives to maximize growth within our Acquisition team. In this leadership role, you will guide the vision and strategy for Acquisition analytics, shaping the development and execution of our Acquisition strategy, and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and the executive team, leveraging analytics to influence business strategies, enhancing reporting capabilities and effectively empowering users to use data regularly.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, experienced in managing complex projects in a high-growth environment, and adept at translating insights into strategic actions and executing those to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the Marketing analytics team through strategic partnership across the organization. Ensure proper reporting of performance against targets for the entire Marketing team within Fanatics Betting & Gaming.
- Using data, help guide and lead the Acquisition Strategy for the entire company helping get the highest ROI for our marketing dollars.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by presenting actionable insights, setting KPIs, and guiding decision-making for our Acquisition Strategy.
- Own and drive the Marketing analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Iterate on and improve scalable performance dashboards and metrics for executive reporting, with a focus on enhancing data accessibility and strategic visibility.
- Measure acquisition test performance through reporting and regular updates; monitor and ensure the complete story is told.
- Ensure data integrity by improving data foundation through collaboration with Engineering teams and properly monitoring for errors.
- Build strong, cross-functional partnerships with Sportsbook, Casino, Operations, Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering team to develop integrated solutions for complex business challenges.
- Mentor and develop a team of junior analysts, fostering growth in technical skills, business acumen, and analytical thinking.
Experience and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, strategic analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record of influencing business strategy through analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting complex data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams.
- Proven experience in managing and developing analytics teams, with the ability to inspire and drive high performance.
- Advanced expertise in dashboard creation and reporting, particularly using tools like Tableau.
- Complete proficiency in SQL, with a strong understanding of statistical programming (experience with R, Python, or a similar language is a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-impact projects, prioritize effectively, and maintain quality and accuracy under tight deadlines.
- A passion for working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with a focus on agility and rapid decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to attend key meetings across Fanatics offices.
- Familiarity with the sports betting and iGaming industries is a bonus.
The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program.
*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $168,000 to $220,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
