Full Description

As the Senior Strategic Programmes Manager you will support our North America Global Team to manage and execute business critical programmes across Global Sports.  

The role will lead multiple programmes of high strategic importance – working with a range of senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product & Technology, Rights, Marketing, Content & Editorial, Social, Legal and more.  

You will need to design and implement new ways of working and process to support the Senior Leadership team to efficiently execute complex programmes across a new Global Sports vertical, working collaboratively with the North America Global Team and the wider Growth Markets team.  

The role will require experience in managing multifaceted programmes of high strategic importance - you should be comfortable digging into the detail of end-to-end programme delivery, whilst confidently communicating to and managing senior and executive stakeholders. The right candidate for this role should be very organised, a confident communicator, driven for success, able to identify and focus on the things that 



Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000

This role will be based in our New York office.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to ensure your programmes are scoped, planned, resourced and successfully delivered  
  • Provide project governance, ensuring that issues, actions, and progress are tracked across the Senior Leadership team and within the wider Growth Markets team 
  • Identify and proactively manage key risks / issues / gaps /dependencies and develop mitigation plans; resolve issues in a timely manner and drive/facilitate decision-making 
  • Regularly present to senior business stakeholders ensuring they are kept up to date on deliverables with expectations managed  
  • Support the wider Strategic Programmes / Growth Markets team on business-critical programmes of work

What You'll Bring:

  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a fast-paced technology / sports media / broadcasting environment  
  • Programme management experience delivering complex programmes that span across multiple business areas 
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to oversee complex workstreams and engage across multiple teams 
  • Excellent at designing effective stakeholder reporting and able to adapt communication methods as required 
  • Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution 
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions  
  • Understanding of sports media, technology and content landscape 
  • Experience in reporting upwards to senior management, both in verbal presentations and documents  
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation across different countries and cultures 
  • Strong knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Word to articulate and visualise documentation, plans and reports to stakeholders  
  • Project or Programme management qualifications (Prince 2, Agile etc.)
