Full Description
Why Join DAZN?
Be part of a finance team driving the growth of one of the world’s leading sports streaming platforms. At DAZN, finance sits at the centre of strategic decision-making — shaping how we invest, price and grow in every market. This is the chance to own that agenda for an entire market, building the commercial finance function for DAZN Taiwan from the ground up and partnering the local leadership team on the decisions that drive the business. It’s a role for someone who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment — where commercial acumen, financial rigour and a hands-on, build-it mindset go hand in hand.
The Role
Based in Taipei, this is the commercial finance lead for DAZN’s Taiwan business — covering the whole picture, from subscription and advertising revenue through to the cost base, cash and working capital. It sits at the heart of commercial decision-making in the market and is a hands-on role with real visibility. It involves building out Taiwan’s commercial finance function, putting in the reporting and processes a growing business needs, helping move finance onto a new system (Xero to Oracle), and acting as the local point of contact for tax and audit — all while partnering with Taiwan senior leadership on the choices that shape the business.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Own the Taiwan P&L, budget and reforecasts — turning performance into clear insight on what’s working, what isn’t and where to act
- Act as the go-to finance partner for the Taiwan MD and leadership, shaping commercial decisions with a clear point of view rather than just numbers
- Own cash and working capital — a priority in a growing business with high fixed costs — managing liquidity, cash-flow forecasting and the levers that protect it
- Build out Taiwan’s commercial finance function, putting in the reporting, processes and controls a scaling business needs
- Drive the commercial decisions — modelling new distribution deals, valuing rights opportunities and shaping pricing and content strategy with leadership
- Own the subscription revenue plan — building the forecast from subscribers, churn, pricing and ARPU — and partner marketing on pricing and promotions
- Forecast advertising revenue across all inventory, keep a live view of booked and pipeline sales, and produce KPI reporting by industry, client and channel
- Own the Taiwan cost base — budgeting across teams, projects and content, challenging spend, and judging whether content and production spend earns its keep
- Help drive the move from Xero to Oracle, keeping reporting accurate and uninterrupted through the change
- Act as the local point of contact for tax and audit, working with external advisers and keeping the business compliant
What You'll Bring:
- Solid experience in a finance role combining accounting and commercial finance — comfortable with month-end and cash management as well as forecasting, modelling and partnering the business
- Experience setting up or strengthening a finance function — putting in reporting, processes and controls
- Experience managing a cost base, not just reporting on it; experience of a finance transformation or system migration is a strong advantage
- A track record of working directly with senior leadership, comfortable influencing decisions at MD or C-suite level
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel; BI tools such as Looker an advantage
- Sound grasp of local statutory compliance, comfortable acting as the point of contact for tax and audit
- Experience in media, technology, digital advertising or a fast-growth consumer business preferred but not essential
- Mandarin and English at business level are required
