Job Description
OVERVIEW:
As a result of growth to a key client’s global partnership portfolio, Wasserman are looking to on board a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced Senior Manager, Event Production to oversee the development, production and execution of a global brand partnership within motorsport.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Overarching Activation planning with Production Director
- Core kit sourcing and fabrication (in conjunction with US/APAC Production teams) - including structures, bespoke kit, core furniture, AV)
- Oversight of all logistical planning, including but not limited to permits, visas, licenses
- Production oversight, vetting and feasibility checks of any new / revised consumer activations
- Development of transportation and logistics plan and partner vetting/management
- Development of overarching build plans as it relates to kit
- Escalation and oversight on all partner/track communication
- Oversight of live event execution, global travel will be required
- Budget management & reconciliation (alongside Production lead)
- Manage escalation, de-escalation and resolution of issues and incidents
- Client comms and management in relation to all production elements (where required)
- Maintain consistency and quality control across all activations, regardless of region
- Development of production/ops playbook to be used across all races
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- 6+ years of large-scale event production planning and delivery
- Experience managing complex production budgets
- Extensive supplier network, with strong supplier relationships
- Capable of navigating tough issues and influencing those involved toward a desired outcome
- Lead and inspire other team members, generate positive morale.
- Must be comfortable working as an integral part of a global team environment
- Continuously demonstrates solution-oriented mentality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new ways of working
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload while coordinating with others to proactively meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times
- Agency experience preferred
- Happy to travel internationally at key points across the calendar year to deliver international events
- Ideally a strong interest in the sport & entertainment industries (experience working within motorsport, desired but not essential)
