We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Lead Supply Planning, Apparel & Accessories to lead our supply planning function for the fastest growing categories at On. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and support our brand's growth and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the apparel and accessories industry, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. You will report directly to the Head of Supply Planning for all categories and lead a team of 6 dedicated supply planners.
Your Mission
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six supply planners, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply planning strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives, sales forecasts, and inventory targets for apparel and accessories.
- Facilitate monthly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, addressing demand-supply gaps and presenting supply plans risks and mitigation proposals
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, service levels, capacity utilization, and supply disruptions
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance supply planning processes, tools, and practices to achieve industry-leading standards
- Foster continuous improvement initiatives within the supply planning team, driving for increased efficiency and accuracy in planning processes
Your story
- Masters's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team
- Demonstrated experience in a premium sports, fashion, or consumer goods company is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, including sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Proven expertise in S&OP processes and their implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software (ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
