Job Description
As an Investor Relations Manager, you will be joining the Investor Relations team, who are responsible for ensuring that Entain has a strong strategic narrative, presents its investment case effectively, has a strong global shareholder base and ensures the market has all the information to make a full and fair assessment of Entain's opportunities and value.
Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, you will be part of the Investor Relations team based in London, UK.
Core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ownership of company compiled consensus tracking alongside internal financial budgets
- Key contact for management of sell-side analysts financial modelling and general inbound financial questions
- Oversee and lead on preparation for results, CMD's and other reporting events including:
- Management of timetable and processes for financial reporting
- Development of high-quality materials for financial results and other market related communications including RNS statements, presentations, scripts and Q&A
- Liaising with group finance, and other departments as necessary
- Ensure appropriate data-pack and briefing preparation
- Development of strategy to support appropriate share ownership base, including:
- Monitoring of share register analysis including movements
- Structured approach to investor targeting, ensuring appropriate engagement programme
- Responsibility for monitoring investor interaction through CRM systems to ensure discussion points and themes are captured and that IR activity yields effective results
- Overseeing effective conference attendance with inclusion of appropriate wider Executives
What you will do
- Participation in investor meetings and roadshows alongside management, as appropriate
- Monitor share price and valuation and report on these to the executive team and the Board
- Play a leading role in IR as a highly credible point of contact with Investor Relations responding to investor and analysts requests in a highly professional and commercially astute manner
- Build relationships with the sell side, to support wider IR team.
- Put in place processes to better monitor, summarise and circulate sell side research on Entain and key industry peers in UK, Europe and the US
- Build relationships across Entain to help keep the IR team informed and act as an ambassador for IR internally
- Support the team in the production of the Group's Annual Report & Accounts, and ensure that Entain is delivering best in class disclosure
- Work constructively with the wider Communications teams, Regulatory Affairs and Finance functions.
- Assisting Group Treasury with Debt IR programme and rating agency relationships
Qualifications
- Graduate (strongly preferred) and / or a financial qualification (CFA or ACA)
- Must have proven experience of Investor Relations or Capital Markets
- Excellent financial modelling and excel skills
- Team player with flexible, proactive approach and a strong desire to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in drafting engaging and impactful narratives
- Good understanding of key metrics for corporate valuations as well as securities disclosure requirements
- High degree of independent judgement, with an ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Comfortable working at a high pace, frequently to tight deadlines, and the ability to perform well in high-pressure environments
