About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Director of Revenue Operations to act as the strategic right hand to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and a central architect in shaping and executing our global revenue strategy. This is a high-visibility leadership position with influence that spans across business units, verticals, and global regions.
You will lead cross-functional efforts to drive revenue performance, operationalize growth initiatives, unlock efficiencies, and bring clarity to complexity. This role blends macro-strategic thinking with relentless, detail-oriented execution. You will be the connective tissue between strategy, systems, people, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Revenue Leadership
Partner closely with the CRO to develop and refine the global revenue roadmap—ensuring alignment between commercial priorities, market dynamics, and execution.
Translate high-level vision into actionable operating plans, frameworks, and processes that scale.
Drive organizational readiness around key growth initiatives (new markets, products, partnerships) from incubation to deployment.
Build, manage, and iterate dashboards, forecasts, and performance analytics to inform decision-making and accountability.
Operational Excellence & Project Execution
Lead and oversee cross-functional initiatives tied to revenue acceleration, sales enablement, and operational transformation.
Serve as a force-multiplier to CRO and commercial leadership—identifying risks, resolving bottlenecks, and tracking high-priority projects to completion.
Develop and enforce operating cadences, revenue reporting rhythms, and executive-level communications that keep the commercial machine humming.
Collaboration Across Business Units
Act as a liaison between revenue leadership and departments including Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
Foster alignment and visibility across global commercial teams—ensuring consistent performance tracking, process standardization, and information flow.
Work closely with regional leads to localize global strategy and deliver revenue impact in diverse markets.
Commercial Systems, Tools, and Insights
Oversee implementation and optimization of CRM, forecasting tools, and BI platforms.
Design and manage the end-to-end revenue operations infrastructure, including pipeline hygiene, quota planning, territory design, and compensation frameworks
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are a proactive operator, a strategic systems thinker, and a hands-on leader who sees around corners. You thrive in fast-paced environments, and you bring clarity to ambiguity. You have an innate ability to zoom out and see the whole playing field—and then zoom in and execute.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in revenue operations, commercial strategy, business operations, or sales strategy at a high-growth company or top-tier consulting firm.
Proven ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
Experience supporting executive leadership (ideally at CRO or CCO level) and driving organizational change.
Strong analytical acumen—comfortable working with complex data, business models, and forecasting methodologies.
Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with an ability to synthesize complexity into clarity.
Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools, financial modeling, and project management systems.
Experience in live events, media, sports, entertainment, or ticketing is a strong plus
Personal Characteristics
Bias toward action—fast-moving, solutions-oriented, and adaptable.
Systems builder—able to balance structure with agility.
Highly accountable—holds self and others to high standards.
Collaborative and low-ego—comfortable influencing without authority across multiple senior stakeholders.
Comfortable navigating gray areas and evolving environments.
