The Role:
The Senior Automation Optimization Engineer will support and facilitate the deployment process of projects, bug fixes, and change requests into production. This role requires practical experience in development with familiarity in technologies such as C#, Python, UiPath, Power Automate, and AI/ML tools. The coordinator will assist with re-engineering efforts for the continuous improvement of projects already live in production and collaborate with the Solution Architect on pilots and proof of concept projects. This role ensures best practices are upheld in code deployment and change management while coordinating and prioritizing change requests based on business needs and risk assessments.
Role Clarity :
The Change Management Coordinator focuses on supporting deployment processes, helping manage change requests, and ensuring practices are followed in alignment with organizational goals. This position works in collaboration with the Testing Specialist for pre-deployment validations and supports the Solution Architect in aligning with broader architectural guidance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Change Management Process Support : Coordinate and facilitate the change management process for Intelligent Automation projects, including development, testing, and deployment.
- Backlog Management Assistance : Support the evaluation and prioritization of change requests, bugs, and production enhancements.
- Deployment Coordination : Assist in ensuring the seamless deployment of changes into production environments while supporting system stability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, developers, and business teams to gather requirements and align project changes.
- Best Practice Adherence : Assist in following established best practices for code management, version control, and deployment.
- Risk Assessment : Support risk assessment efforts to mitigate potential production issues.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain clear records of change requests and outcomes, providing regular updates to relevant teams.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate in efforts to enhance change management processes and introduce relevant optimizations as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Technical Knowledge : Practical knowledge of software development, particularly with technologies like C#, Python, UiPath, and Power Automate.
- Experience in Change Management : Familiarity with managing change requests and supporting deployments.
- Project Management : Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile or Scrum).
- Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem-Solving Ability : Capable of supporting troubleshooting efforts for production issues.
- Strong Communication Skills : Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Automation Tools : Basic exposure to automation and AI/ML tools in deployment contexts.
- Certifications : While not required, relevant training or experience in change management practices is beneficial.
Soft Skills :
- Collaborative mindset with adaptability for a dynamic environment.
