ROLE PURPOSE:

We are seeking an ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) Analyst/Senior Analyst to support first-line risk management and control monitoring activities. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks, identifying financial reporting risks, and enhancing process efficiencies. The role requires collaboration across teams to ensure strong governance and control mechanisms are in place, while also supporting continuous improvements in risk management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform ongoing monitoring and testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support first-line control owners in designing and maintaining effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Identify and assess financial reporting risks, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Assist in remediation efforts by working closely with control owners to address deficiencies and enhance control effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and risk teams to improve processes and drive automation in control monitoring activities.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for internal control assessments, audit requests, and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on best practices in internal control and risk mitigation.
  • Stay updated on evolving compliance requirements and industry best practices to enhance ICFR processes.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE :

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in internal controls, risk management, audit, or financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of ICFR, SOX compliance, and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience in testing and evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify control gaps, and recommend process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and risk management tools.
  • Certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA are a plus but not manadatory.
  • Success is measured by the effectiveness of control frameworks, compliance with regulatory standards, and the ability to proactively mitigate financial reporting risks.
