WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Senior Tax Analyst, External Reporting and Compliance at Nike, you’ll be part of the Global Tax External Reporting and Compliance team, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in Controlling, Treasury, Global Business Planning, and Tax Planning and Controversy. You’ll also engage with external advisors to support global income tax reporting and compliance processes. Your primary focus will be on the Americas region (Canada and LATAM), while also contributing to global initiatives.

We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with a strong foundation in tax accounting and compliance who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You possess sharp analytical skills and a proven ability to translate financial results into accurate tax reporting. With strong project management instincts and the agility to adapt to shifting priorities, you’re a clear communicator who builds trust through collaboration and a solution-focused mindset.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Finance, Tax, Accounting or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred
- 3 +years of experience leading or supporting US Corporate Tax at a large multinational company or public accounting firm
- Experience in US Taxation of International operations and transfer pricing preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, SAP and SharePoint systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate issues/risks and opportunities
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing multiple, competing priorities and requests, while maintaining high standards for quality and attention to detail
- Track record in developing high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll lead and support income tax reporting and compliance activities across the Americas region and contribute to global tax operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Americas Region – Tax Reporting and Compliance
- Review corporate income tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, and compliance reports
- Coordinate with Controlling and Treasury on cash tax forecasts and payments
- Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on operations
- Collaborate on US GAAP and local statutory tax accounting for planning strategies and controversy analysis (FIN 48)
- Review tax provision calculations, journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures
- Respond to internal and external audit inquiries
Global – Tax Reporting and Compliance
- Review global US GAAP income tax provision calculations and related financial entries
- Support corporate income tax compliance activities worldwide
- You may also assist with special projects and ad hoc initiatives across the tax department
