Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) is British Horseracing's official equine charity established in 2000 for the welfare of horses that have retired from racing.
In order to further develop the RoR regional education and community support programme, RoR are seeking a professional and self-motivated individual who will oversee delivery of RoR activity within the South East. There will be times when the South East Regional Development Officer (RDO) is required to travel out of area to assist with delivery of education initiatives and for meetings with the wider team.
Key responsibilities of the RDOs will be to manage and develop RoR activity in their allocated region, deliver specific educational events, expand the regional RoR community support network, manage the regional budgets and accounts and recruit and manage RoR regional volunteers.
This position is part‐time, permanent role, with a pro-rata salary based on two days' work per week.
