Job Title: People Services Manager
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Location: Elland Road Stadium
Responsible to: Head of People

Overview
The people services manager will provide a full generalist HR service to the Club overseeing all people administration, compliance and systems. You will manage the employee lifecycle and delivery of our annual operating plan, driving process improvements and automation, elevating the employee experience, and ensuring that we provide high-quality output.
What are the responsibilities?
Leads the delivery of onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, data management, and policy support with precision and care.
Participates in and provides recommendations to the HR Technology roadmap to support automation, improved employee experience and realisation of efficiencies in HR Operations
Has full oversight and responsibility for the operations of our HR System, ensuring the maintenance of current and accurate information within this platform and shared drive
Develops and delivers a robust roadmap to help inform the people agenda
Provides key insights and analytics as requested to support the Head of People and Senior Leadership Team.
Drives process improvement and automation to elevate the employee experience.
Develops and agrees process maps and service level agreements for all core people matters.
Works in collaboration with our IT team to ensure a seamless flow of information regarding employee changes, onboarding and offboarding
Provides professional and confidential HR support and administration across the full range of HR activity, including L&D, terms and conditions of service, benefits provision, recruitment and payroll submissions.
Manages relationships with external technology providers to ensure service excellence
Champions a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Regularly contributes across the People team, recommending improvements to systems and procedures to improve efficiency in the department
Supports the Head of People with tasks related to the implementation of the engagement survey, performance reviews and company initiatives
Leads and owns the onboarding process including pre commencement checks including RTW and sponsorship processes, to ensure compliance.
Oversee the HR annual operating plan, ensuring that all cyclical process are executed with high quality in a timely manner

Person Specification
Essential
A strong understanding and experience of using HR software/technology to support HR service delivery
Experience in managing a HR administration team, demonstrating a solid foundation in building and enhancing people processes.
Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to effectively prioritise within a busy portfolio to meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and able to undertake basic analysis and support in the creation of documents and presentations.
Able to analyse and interpret information to form sound judgements.
Ability to develop practical and innovative solutions to problem solving
Proactive & adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
An organised mind with a love and passion for delivering the best to people
Desirable
CIPD level 5 or 7
Previous experience in sport/ entertainment
Previous experience implementing systems
