Full Description

ROLE REVIEW:

Join our team as a People Operations Coordinator, supporting both Human Resources operations and recruitment efforts across our Fanatics Fulfillment Center. This dual-function role is critical in helping us scale talent acquisition processes while maintaining HR administrative excellence. You will play a key role in executing hiring events, onboarding processes, and employee records management. The role is on-site and may require a flexible schedule during peak season support.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR team, including file maintenance, data entry, and employee communications.
  • Assist with candidate processing including background checks, I-9 verification, and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate and support recruiting activities such as on-site hiring events, candidate scheduling, and applicant tracking updates.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and routine HR-related questions while escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, benefit confirmations, and personnel records in compliance with HR policies.
  • Compile reports using HRIS (e.g., Oracle HCM) and recruitment systems to support data requests and audits.
  • Support the facilitation of new hire orientations, recruitment marketing, and community hiring efforts.
  • Assist in the distribution of communication materials including job postings, training resources, and internal memos.
  • Prepare agendas and take meeting notes for team meetings and HR projects.
  • Partner with HR and TA teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate and employee experience.
  • Help coordinate special events and vendor logistics as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR or recruiting coursework a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort interacting with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to build and interpret reports preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (Oracle, Workday, First Advantage, etc.) preferred.
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Customer service mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems and supporting team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Event coordination or facilitation experience preferred.
