Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Drive an effective and efficient sports marketing portfolio for the selected focus concepts in key category in country /cluster in full alignment with the Global Sports Marketing, Local Brand Communication and Local Business Units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create the local portfolio planning based on input from Global
- Negotiate/Acquire/Evaluate partners for the category.
- Budget management for the category including operating expenses
- Manage the execution of the marketing working budget plan per the budget planning
- Input to Contract Approval Form/Asset Management System/Global Bonus Program
- Plan and activate our partners with the respective functions within local brand activation team and Membership team.
- Support for organizing events.
- Support for booth management at events (e.g., Inter-High and similar events).
- Manage right color way FTW at right timing.
KPIs:
- Share of Search (country, key city, category and franchise names)
- Share of voice in key sports events
- Secure relevant and in-time partner portfolio
- Brand Net Sales
- Compliance to sports marketing expense guidelines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. relationship management, facilitation, etc.)
- Leading and managing a diverse team
- Deep sports marketing knowledge
- Strong influencing skills
- Basic MS Office skills
- Experience in both market and above market organization preferred
- Advanced in English / Native in Japanese
Requisite Education / Qualifications:
- University degree in business with marketing focus and ideally some exposure to sports or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3-5 year experience in relevant working field
- Experience, Communication/Negotiation skill
- Passion for Sports
- Knowledge of sports categories preferred.
- Relationship with key person in sports marketing world preferred.
