Live Event Operations Manager

The Live Event Operations Manager is a dynamic, strategic, and detail-oriented leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of departmental business operations within the Live Events division. This role blends operational priorities with revenue strategy, requiring a proactive problem-solver who can manage day-to-day functions while driving high-impact initiatives that enhance profitability, efficiency, and fan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a broad range of functional responsibilities critical to live event business operations, including reporting, cross-departmental systems management, and promotional support across domestic and international markets.
  • Manage program timelines, budgets, and deliverables for assigned initiatives, including VIP experiences, premium offerings, and upsell programs.
  • Leverage CRM systems and data analytics tools to assess fan behavior, purchasing trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Liaise across all creative departments, consolidating creative requests from multiple internal stakeholders, aligning priorities and timelines, and ensuring the timely, accurate, and strategic execution of all creative deliverables.
  • Develop and implement departmental revenue strategies to maximize ticket sales, ancillary revenue, and overall event profitability.
  • Support administrative and strategic needs of the department as designated by the Head of Live Events.
  • Utilize dynamic pricing tools and ticketing platforms to analyze demand patterns, pace reports, and real-time sales data to optimize pricing and inventory allocation.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and revenue performance metrics, generating recurring and ad hoc reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders within the TKO ecosystem.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all TKO programming, storylines, products, and talent to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in live event operations, business operations, ticketing, revenue management, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of ticket pricing strategies, demand-based pricing models, yield management principles, and secondary market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data, interpret pace reports, and translate insights into actionable pricing and revenue strategies.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • TKO product knowledge preferred.
