As an IT Project Manager - Generative AI and UX you will be responsible for leading projects and proof-of-concepts that prioritize end-user needs in a culturally diverse environment. You’ll work closely together with our markets in Europe and Latin America, ensuring deliverables align with expectations. You will conduct end-user research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and integrate feedback into designs. Additionally, you will support Generative AI initiatives, providing guidance and scaling training programs tailored to European and Latin American markets. You will foster a user-centric mindset, acting as a link between headquarters in Austria and local teams in the markets, promoting continuous improvement based on feedback.

DELIVER USER-CENTRIC PROJECTS
In this role, you will lead projects and assignments that prioritize end-user needs and relevance, ensuring that all deliverables align with user expectations. You will conduct end-user research and requirements engineering to gather valuable insights, impacting project direction and scope. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate user feedback into project designs. You will develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, you will ensure documentation and communication of project outcomes to stakeholders. By fostering a user-centric culture within the project team, you will advocate for user needs and ensure their representation in all project phases. Utilizing data and analytics will be crucial to measure project success and user satisfaction.
SUPPORT AND SCALE THE AREA GENERATIVE AI RESPONSIBILITY
You will gain and maintain expertise in Generative AI, tailored specifically to European and LATAM markets. Your role will involve supporting and scaling training programs to enhance the skills of local IT teams and end-users. You will support demand capture and requirements engineering in the field of Generative AI, ensuring alignment and joint decision-making with relevant stakeholders. Leading the design and implementation of proof-of-concepts (POCs) in the field of Generative AI or applied innovation will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide guidance and support to local IT teams during the adaptation and implementation of available Generative AI solutions. Promoting best practices in Generative AI across the Area IT Europe and LATAM will be key. You will establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to support Generative AI initiatives and track and report on the progress and impact of these projects.
DEVELOP AND FOSTER A USER-CENTRIC MINDSET
Your role will involve cultivating cultural awareness and empathy for diverse user groups in the Europe and Latin America regions. Acting as an intermediary between headquarters IT in Austria, local IT in the markets of Europe and Latin America, and end-users in the markets, you will facilitate smooth integration into daily workflows, understanding local requirements and specifics to act upon. You will learn to identify user needs and preferences through open communication, direct interaction, and feedback mechanisms. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement based on user feedback will be essential. You will ensure that user-centric practices are embedded in all phases of project development, measuring and reporting on user satisfaction and engagement metrics.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field; higher degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT project management; experience in supporting proof of concepts (POCs)
- Ideally Project Management Certifications (PMI, Agile Scrum, PRINCE2, or others)
- Familiarity with user experience and user-centred design concepts is an advantage
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts and with requirements engineering is an advantage
- Written and spoken English is essential
- Strong empathy, communication and cooperation skills
- Team-oriented, performance- and results-oriented, independent and motivated personality
- Travel 0-10%
