Internship Talent Marketing Operations

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.

Job Overview

This position will be working in the Talent Marketing Department at Wasserman. This group actively prospects paid opportunities/ partnerships for athletes, artists, entertainers and creators that Wasserman represents. This intern will help operational projects, create target lists, research specific markets and/or brands, assist in setting up meetings/calls with decision makers by making cold calls and other tasks pertaining to the Talent Marketing process. 

What You’ll Do

• Support the Vice President of Talent Marketing and Operations with various tasks
• Conduct cold calls and marketing outreach as directed
• Create excel spreadsheets and powerpoint pitch decks to organize and conduct marketing outreach
• Review contracts and prepare summaries
• Various administration duties as assigned
• Applicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills.
• Applicants should have an interest in sports/music/entertainment business and sales/marketing as well as be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of Wasserman Talent by cold calling and other communication skills.
• Applicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree currently in progress, preferably majoring in a sports/music/entertainment field
• Applicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic.
• Applicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills.
• Applicants should have an interest in sports business and sales/marketing as well as be eager to learn about and contribute to the marketing and endorsement efforts of professional athletes by cold calling and other communication skills.
• Applicants with sales, marketing, business development and cold calls experience are strongly preferred.
• Well-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Displays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clients

Important Information

• Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
• Runs from January 27, 2026 –May 1, 2026
• Time commitment expectation of 20 hours per week
