Job Description

This position will report to the Athlete Content Manager on the Athlete Exchange team. This team helps manage and create branded and organic content for the digital properties of Wasserman athletes, as well as pitch and manage branded athlete content projects that include commercial production shoots, paid media management, and custom graphics or imagery creation.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof that they are able to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so. This internship will run from September 9, 2025 – December 12, 2025.  

Duties:

  • Help ideate & create athlete social media content and maintain detailed knowledge of team sports landscape
  • Help create resources for our clients to stay up to date on the best social practices and new updates across platform
  • Assist with gathering social media analytics for clients and marketing/sales team
  • Assist with team tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
  • Time commitment of 15 – 20 hours per week
  • Understanding of all social media platforms and their functions
  • Must have a strong interest in and knowledge of the sports industry, and actively be immerse and follow professional athletes on social media
  • Prior marketing, production or sports industry experience preferred
  • Candidates with strong writing skills, copywriting, Adobe Creative Suite, design, video editing, photo editing, and/or social media management experience strongly preferred
  • Must be able to come into our LA office 1-2x per week

Interns will attain a rewarding learning experience by interning for a large sports/entertainment company, as well as learning the importance of business organization and management. They will make connections with industry leaders to obtain exposure to the strategies behind digital management and marketing in sports.
