Do you want to shape the future of the biggest sports entertainment destination in the world and take our Belgian advertising business to the next level? 

As our new Head of Media Sales, you will lead the ad sales department of DAZN Belgium and engage with our clients and reseller partner – driving forward the transition into a multi-platform media proposition on OTT, linear and much more. 

You will be using your market intelligence & network to achieve our ambitious growth objectives while aligning with the local leadership team as well as collaborating with DAZN Media teams across the globe. But most of all you will be passionate about sports and mentoring a team of ad sales professionals to transform them into cornerstones of the DAZN business. 

As our new Head of Media Sales (m/f/d), you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across OTT, linear and social channels to achieve business objectives and revenue targets 
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of media professionals to exceed sales goals and performance metrics 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, media agencies and reseller partners 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and drive growth 
  • Collaborate with local leadership & cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals 
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and provide strategic recommendations 
  • Oversee the development of sales training programs to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team 
  • Represent the company at industry events, B2B conferences and client meetings to promote our brand and services 

You'll have:

  • Proven leadership experience in sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets 
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams 
  • Ability to analyse market trends and sales data to make informed business decisions 
  • Extensive understanding of the sport rights landscape including rights IP usage & sponsorship restrictions 
  • Proficiency in sales tools and CRM software 
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills 
  • 10+ years in media / sponsorship sales experience 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in Dutch, French and English

This role will be based hybrid in Brussels, Belgium.

  • Meal tickets - 7€ a day with a personal contribution of 1.09€
  • Group insurance (3% of gross salary)
  • Hospitalization insurance (DKV)
  • Home work allowance when you come by private car ( max 25 Euro based upon distance in km between home -work). When coming by public transport, 100% of train costs are covered, 80% of bus / metro.
  • Holiday pay and 13th month according to PC
