OVERVIEW:
As part of one of the fastest-growing digital sports companies worldwide, you will lead the Global Commercial & Market Intelligence team. In this high impact role, you are part of Sportradar's overall Data & Insights unit and responsible for the organization and development of the company's market intelligence initiatives. You will also cooperate with all commercial and product units of Sportradar, take the vision of senior management, add your expertise and know-how and translate that into concrete projects.
The Global Commercial & Market Intelligence team collects information of our business environment such as customer, competitors and markets in the respective territories. Based on this information the team provides analysis to support dedicated strategic as well as commercial decisions, sales activities and new business development.
THE CHALLENGE:

- Initiate new approaches and ideas to develop Sportradar's market intelligence further and lift it to a new level.
- Coordinate internal as well as external stakeholders for constant alignment and consolidate all available information
- Ensure a central availability of all insights and information within the company
- Gather regular information about competitors, clients, and partners concerning financials figures, pricing, product features, technologies and projects
- Identify general industry trends & market developments
- Follow a client centric approach and support a holistic understanding of Sportradar's customers incl. initiatives to regularly collect 1st party data.
- Analyze and provide regional input to the global content and other strategic initiatives
- Understand end customer behavior and needs
- Identify capability gaps and product improvements as well as new markets and innovations
- Identify potential M&A targets and support due diligence
YOUR PROFILE:
- Demonstrable experience in business analysis and/or market intelligence & research/consumer insights, preferably within betting & gaming, internet businesses, banking & finance and/or other high transactional environments
- Excellent understanding of geographical markets, client behavior and using data to identify trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of up to 10 people
- Experienced in both primary and secondary research is an asset.
- A very structured way of working with an attention to detail and an urge of ownership
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), any other European language will be considered a plus
- Resourceful, problem-solving attitude
- Analytical minded, accurate & proactive
- Relevant academic qualifications

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
